Over Christmas I cycled from Arrasate to Leon. Beautiful countryside riding but bitterly cold in the mornings. Had my first experience with sticky mud which was useful. Also useful was the cold weather riding experience – basically, I don´t like the cold very much and I need proper gear for cold weather. I didn´t camp, I slept in Albergues (hostels).
